Ambient and heated Nordson hand gun applicators are designed to minimize operator fatigue and physical stress in manual adhesive applications. Hand guns can be configured for vertical or horizontal application and in conjunction with the durable design are well-suited for most production environments. A variety of nozzles is available for production flexibility in adhesive pattern application.
AD Series
Lightweight AD Series handguns offer a wide range of pattern capabilities. Their efficient design and reliable performance make them ideal for manually dispensing hot melt adhesives, sealants and other thermoplastic materials.
- Improve handling ease and operator comfort with compact, lightweight design.
- Reduce risk of burns with distinctive ever-cool handle that houses heated components and adhesive-flow paths within the gun body, not the handle.
- Extend service life with impact-resistant molded shell.
- Eliminate hose twisting with 360-degree swivel connector.
- Select standard or extended nozzles with varying orifice diameters to meet adhesive deposition requirements.
- Regulate adhesive flow when using gear-pump drum melters with a microswitch in the gun handle that controls the motor clutch.

- Handle high-viscosity or filled materials using the AD-31 LBS, featuring a large ball-and-seat and larger flow paths.
- Choose a RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensor or a preset thermostatic temperature sensor compatible with older melters that do not use RTD sensing.
AD-41 Series Handguns
- Dispense adhesive from up or down-apply gun positions.
- Control on-off air and adhesive flow simultaneously with single handgun trigger.
- Reduce temperature fluctuations that could negatively affect flow and cause char formation using RTD sensing.
FP Series
FP-200 Handguns
FP-200 handguns minimize physical stress and fatigue when manually applying hot melt adhesives. Weight-supported design and ergonomic configuration allow operators to maintain a neutral wrist position. FP-200 handguns are ideal for horizontal gluing applications on flat panels.
- Easily move left or right and in or out using the pivoting swing arm.
- Protect the operator with a cool-touch handle that contains no heated components or heated flow paths.
- Select nozzles for producing bead or spiral spray patterns. Spray patterns range from 0.25 to 6 inches wide (6 to 152 mm).

Mini Squirt® System
The all-electric Mini Squirt system is a portable, handheld hot melt adhesive dispenser that replaces staples, tape, cold glue, shrink-wrap, strapping, or messy stick and slug glue guns. It is ideal for light industrial environments to bond leather, wood, cardboard, ceramics, rubber, plastics, carpet, textiles or other materials.
